I am a citizen of Heaven. Not of this world. I have been saved by faith, and that not of my own; it is the gift of God.
God is the creator of Earth and the universe around it. You can't deny that this world has been created. For a single protein to be made, you need to have the EXACT structure and variety of amino acids in a certain order for the combination to be correct, and for a protein to be made. Something can't come from nothing without a divine force. A God.
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--His eternal power and divine nature--HAVE BEEN CLEARLY SEEN, being understood from what has been made, so that people are WITHOUT excuse. (Romans 1:20 NIV, emphasis mine)
God was not alone when He created us masterfully. He had a Son. This Son was perfect, untouched by evil. Though we are cursed with it.
for ALL have sinned an fall short of the glory of God, (Romans 3:23 NKJV, emphasis mine)
Jesus, my Lord, came down in the form of man. He lived with us and walked with us, revealing the wisdom of God. But before He ascended back into heaven, He died for us. He took the fall, the fall we bring upon ourselves with every time we did, do, or will do evil. He suffered and took God's punishment for us. God is love, but He is also just. He won't stand for sin. So Jesus interceded.
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit, (1 Peter 3:18 NKJV)
Yes. Jesus rose again. Three days after He was hung on a cross and suffered the wrath of my perfect God, He left the tomb. He's living. And He ascended into heaven, now sitting on the Right Hand of Majesty on High, God. His sacrifice allows us to confess our sins to God and enter into a Father-child relationship with Him.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9, NKJV)
If we accept this, we are cleansed, not matter how good or how bad we think we are.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16 NIV)
Think about this hope. And call to Jesus for forgiveness for sins now. He's listening.
for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13 NIV)
