Since I’ve started writing this I’ve been thinking about a clever way to introduce myself, like the way Death does in The Book Thief. I’ve been pondering how I could have you guess my name or see me through my work. But in the end, to you I’m am just another person among the seven billion in this world. For all you know I’m just one among the rest; just another kid out from the universe’s assembly line. Another face in the crowd.
The fact is, however, that I am special. We all are. We may appear to just be faces, but we have souls. We’re not from an assembly line or from some random explosion at the beginning of time. We have a Creator. He’s an Artist, and we’re His masterpieces. We’re from God. We were made in His glorious image.
My name’s Harry. Yes, I’m another face in the crowd. Another among seven billion. But did you know that all seven billion of us are special, and not one is just like the other?
Since I was eight years old I have been a Christian, a believer of the living God and His Son Christ Jesus. My Messiah offered His life for us to allow us to be forgiven; such is the love of God, that He sent His only Son to be the sacrifice that can cleanse us of all our sins, so that we may not suffer eternal punishment, but live in the presence of Him and His Son.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9, the Bible
God is my Father. But I have a dad on Earth too. Now that I mention it, I have a whole family. A little brother, an older sister, another sister (this one younger), a dog, and a couple of amazing parents who committed quite a lot to raising me. Thanks guys!
I’ve had many hobbies over the years of my life. None have lasted any longer than writing. Over time I’ve written a few books, mostly childish endeavors without any good results. However, my passion has grown, and so has my skill, and I’ve written ten thousands of words that I genuinely think are good, or at least have potential. I believe that about half of the words I’ve ever typed or penned have been a part of my books. My current novel, Bayonet, is on it’s way to completion.
I wish you a pleasant time on my blog, whether you be friend or family, stranger or acquaintance, ally or enemy, writer or published author, Christian or hopefully soon-to-be-one.
To God be the glory.
Email is a handy thing. The problem is opening the application or going to the mailbox site to check it or send an email. OK, so that’s not really a problem except for lazy people, but that’s besides the point. So may I introduce to you your convenient way to email me with your questions or anything else…the contact form!
I can’t promise that I’ll get back to you right away, but I’ll totally try to respond. Thanks! I’ll be looking forward to your emails!
Before I go, I’d like to say your privacy is respected. I will not personally share you email with everyone. Since I don’t know how this technology works, I’m not responsible if a group of hackers invade my blog and put your email on Facebook! :-O But, I highly doubt that’ll happen or anything of the like, so you’re information is safe with me. Thanks!
